Job summary

Performance Contracting is seeking an experienced Drywall Finisher Foreman to lead a crew on our commercial construction projects. You will ensure safety, quality, and productivity while directing field activities and coordinating with superintendents.

Responsibilities include taping, filling, skim coating, and sanding drywall to finish specifications; maintaining daily reports and timekeeping; mentoring apprentices and journeymen. On-site work with competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Drywall Finisher Foreman.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to perform basic math.
  • Able to withstand prolonged periods standing and working outside.
  • Physically able to perform assigned tasks.
  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds at a time.
  • Must have reliable transportation.

  • Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment.
  • Ability to perform all job duties and associated work functions in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Collaborate with superintendent and project manager to coordinate project startup, execution and close out.
  • Systematically direct and assign crew field activities to achieve maximize productivity while maintaining PCG standards of quality, performance and workplace safety.
  • Create and maintain positive relationships with all trades, vendors, co-workers and customers to maximize effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Convey a professional and positive attitude as the onsite representative of branch and corporation.
  • Use available technology to perform job tasks efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate daily reports, timekeeping, and documentation.
  • Train, mentor, and develop crew members, including apprentices and journeymen.

Job Description

Job duties may include but are not limited to the following:

This position is safety-sensitive.

Pay Range: $35.31 - $37.31/hr

Requirements

Minimum 2years ofexperience as a Drywall Finisher Foreman

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to perform basic math

  • Must have reliable transportation
Preferred Requirements
  • OSHA 30
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Willingness to travel and manage out-of-town projects is desirable.
  • Experience with specialized finishes; acoustical drywall finish and direct applied skim coat finishes is desirable.
  • Experience with Procore software is desirable.
