Job summary

Clayton is recruiting Home Building Team Members to perform manufacturing production operations in the home building process. The role follows standard production methods and emphasizes safety to maximize efficiency and quality.

Teamwork, adherence to procedures, and reading/implementing drawings are essential. Candidates should be ready to learn across departments and contribute to orderly, productive job sites in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Even-tempered and a positive attitude with a strong focus on teamwork through communication.
• Cannot be past Verbal disciplinary action for attendance.
• Achieved at least “High Performing” on most recent evaluation.
• No Final written disciplinary actions in the last 6 months.
• Ability to learn from feedback & follow procedures.
• Ability to read confirmation orders and build accurately with minimal quality issues while maintaining a sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Practice safe work habits to ensure production is efficient and safe while observing all relevant OSHA regulations.
• Work in a team environment to produce products that conform to our quality standards while achieving our productivity objectives.
• Serve as a good steward of our company’s physical assets, protecting them from damage and misuse, reporting all needed maintenance, keeping assigned areas clean and orderly.
• Assist Team Leader and Area Coordinator to plan and organize the manufacturing activities in your area by communicating anticipated material shortages, identifying required tool maintenance, and communicating any quality and productivity issues.
• Perform other duties assigned.
