Job summary

Clayton is seeking a Drywall Finisher to join our Drywall department. This role requires the ability to lift, push, and pull 50+ lbs, stand and reach overhead for long shifts, and complete 4–6 floors of drywall daily with attention to detail, assuring a high-quality interior finish for our homes.

Prior drywall experience is preferred. This is a BRAVO level position paying $25.00 per hour, with external candidates starting at $23.00 per hour during a 30-day introductory period before progressing

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand, bend, and reach overhead for a full shift.
• Experience mudding, taping, and patching drywall on interior walls.
• Recent drywall experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mud, tape, and patch drywall on interior walls and ceilings.
• Complete 4–6 floors of drywall per day with a focus on quality finishes.
• Support other departments as needed within the task stacker framework.

The Drywall Finisher will be a part of the Drywall department team. This position requires the ability to lift, push, pull 50+lbs on a continuous basis and the ability to stand, bend, and reach overhead throughout the day for the entirety of the shift. This role will be expected to mud, tape, and patch drywall on the interior of homes completing 4-6 floors per day. This team member will have other duties assigned (per the task stacker) to help their internal and external departments.

This role requires an eye for detail to make the interior of the house beautiful for our customers. Prior drywall experience in a recent role preferred.

This is a level BRAVO role , $25.00 per hour. External candidates will start at $23.00 per hour and move their way to ALPHA level pay over the first 30 days of employment if they are successful during their introductory period.
