Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an Estimator with extensive drywall estimating experience to prepare cost estimates and competitive bids for interior finishes in the Southeast region. You will review drawings, perform quantity takeoffs, develop pricing strategies, and coordinate with vendors to assemble bid packages for projects primarily under $2M.

The role requires strong field-operation knowledge, the ability to manage multiple estimates, and independent work across geographic markets.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of drywall estimating experience.
• Deep drywall and metal stud framing estimating experience.
• Strong understanding of field operations and installation methods.
• Experience with OST, Quickbid or Buzzbid.
• Experience estimating commercial drywall and interiors projects.
• Experience bidding projects under $2M.
• Ability to work independently.
• Direct experience with a drywall/interiors contractor preferred.
• Experience working across multiple geographic markets.
• Experience bidding drywall and interiors projects throughout the Southeast region.

Responsibilities

Insight Global is currently seeking an Estimator to join a client in the commercial interiors construction industry. This individual will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and competitive bids for drywall, metal framing, ceiling, and interior finish projects across the branch territory. They will review drawings and specifications, perform quantity takeoffs, develop pricing strategies, and coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to assemble complete bid packages. The Estimator will primarily focus on projects under $2M while ensuring estimates are accurate, competitive, and aligned with project requirements. This individual will work closely with operations and project management teams to support successful project pursuits and seamless handoffs following contract award. The ideal candidate will bring strong drywall estimating expertise, a thorough understanding of field operations, and the ability to independently manage multiple estimates simultaneously. Their experience and industry knowledge will help drive successful bidding efforts and support continued growth across the branch territory.
