Job summary

Vanguard General Contracting is seeking a hands-on Drywall & Construction Laborer in Annapolis, MD. This full-time role involves drywall hanging, finishing, and related interior work on sites around Anne Arundel County.

You will join a small crew on projects including roofing, siding, and interior work, contributing to fast-paced, real-world jobs. You should be able to lift 50–80 lbs, use common tools, and travel between sites with reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Drywall experience preferred (hanging is the priority).
• Physically able to lift 50–80 lbs and work on ladders/scaffolds.

Responsibilities

• Hang drywall (walls and ceilings) with measuring, cutting, and fastening.
• Taping, mudding, sanding, and finish work.
• Demo, haul, clean-up, and jobsite prep.
• Assist with framing, insulation, trim, painting, and other interior tasks as needed.
• Load/unload materials and keep the site organized and safe.
• Collaborate with crew to keep jobs moving and maintain quality.
