Job summary

NOVO Health Services is seeking a full-time associate for linen management and sterile product handling in a healthcare facility. The role focuses on following SOPs, distributing clean linen, inspecting quality, and labeling sterile products with heat-sealing equipment.

The position emphasizes maintaining productivity, mentoring teammates, and suggesting improvements while keeping workstations tidy. A supportive employer offers growth within the linen management division.

Qualifications

• High School Education or GED; training preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in manufacturing, production or service industry.
• Ability to read and understand Standard Operating Procedures.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist, reach and stack items for long periods.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Demonstrated customer service and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks per Standard Operating Procedures.
• Separate, fold, and distribute clean linen.
• Inspect clean linen for quality standards.
• Pouch and label sterile product using heat-sealing equipment.
• Maintain productivity and quality standards.
• Make improvement recommendations to facility management.
• Mentor and train colleagues after mastering tasks.
• Keep workstation neat and clean.
• Other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Perform tasks in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
• Separate, fold, and properly distribute clean linen.
• Inspect clean linen to ensure all quality standards have been met.
• Pouch and label sterile product utilizing the heat-sealing machine.
• Work within established productivity and quality standards.
• Make recommendations to facility management for methods of improvement.
• Mentor and train fellow associates after mastery of tasks.
• Ability to read and understand all Standard Operating Procedures.
• Keep workstation neat and clean.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Education, GED and formal education / training preferred.
• Good analytical skills to be able to determine number of carts required for orders.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in manufacturing, production, or service industry
• Ability to work in a noisy fast paced environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist, reach, and stack individual items from machine for long periods.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Demonstrated customer service and organization skills.
