Base pay range

$20.00/hr - $22.00/hr

Job Details

Position: Dryer Controls Machine Operator

Location: MARATHON, WI

Job Type: Full-Time

Shift Schedule: 3pm - 11pm

Salary: $20 - $22 + $1.00 shift difference

Requirements

• Pre-employment background check and drug screen required.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• One to two years production experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of production processes, process controls experience a plus.
• Ability to pass forklift certification.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs, stand for 12 hours, and climb ladders up to 60 feet safely.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to perform simple math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Operate and adjust pellet mills and dryers, monitor temperatures, and oversee bin levels.
• Regulate material mix for optimal moisture and density, communicate ratios.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, spot fires, hot bearings.
• Maintain pellet mill feed rates, adjust or replace rolls/dies.
• Complete daily reports on temperature, moisture, density, and other operational metrics.
• Additional duties as required.
