Job summary

Polytainers Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator for its Printing Department to operate a dry offset printing press and manage packing of rigid plastic containers and lids.

The role reports to the Printing Shift Supervisor and requires handling multiple responsibilities as needed to meet production goals. Ideal candidates have at least six months in printing/manufacturing, with dry offset experience, and fluent English for clear communication.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent is required.
• Minimum six months of experience in printing or manufacturing; dry offset printing experience required.
• Fluent English with good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Start, stop, run, and tear down Dry Offset Printing Presses.
• Verify job kits, perform line clearance, replace plates and wash color heads.
• Run lid and base presses, including six- and eight-color presses.
• Pack/unpack boxes of finished products according to customer requirements.
• Monitor product quality at the packing station and maintain the trending tray.
• Enter information on daily machine scheduling and attainment board.
