Job summary

Polytainers Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator to operate a dry offset printing press and assist with packing finished plastic containers.

The role reports to the Printing Shift Supervisor and involves running multiple presses, verifying job kits, and maintaining quality and safety standards. Applicants should have a High School diploma or equivalent and at least six months of printing/manufacturing experience, with strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent required.
• Minimum six months work experience in a printing or manufacturing environment, with Dry Offset printing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Start, stop, run, and tear down Dry Offset Printing Presses.
• Perform job kit verification, line clearance, replace plates and wash/prepare color heads.
• Run lid and base presses (six- and eight-color presses).
• Pack/unpack boxes of finished products according to customer requirements.
• Remove and handle trending tray product samples.
• Apply labels to boxes and stamp every box without pre-labeling.
• Cover other Machine Operators during lunch/breaks.
• Monitor product quality at packing station and maintain trending tray.
• Update job cards and enter information on daily machine scheduling and attainment board.
