Job summary

Airgas is seeking a reliable Plant Operator in Amistad, NM to load, weigh, and package dry ice products. You will maintain cleanliness and safety in the facility while ensuring quality packaging according to standards.

The role requires basic math skills, the ability to use scales and packaging equipment, and a willingness to work 5:00 AM–3:30 PM with Wednesdays and Sundays off. Airgas offers comprehensive benefits and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
• Experience in a production/manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and weigh dry ice products for packaging.
• Package dry ice into blocks, pellets, or slices per orders.
• Operate production machinery and material handling equipment safely.
• Document production numbers, shipping manifests, and inventory usage.
