Job summary

Airgas in Santa Fe Springs, CA is seeking a Plant Operator to safely load and package dry ice products and keep the facility clean and organized. The role focuses on quality control, accurate logging, and operating forklifts and material handling equipment on a 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM shift, Fri-Tue with Wed/Thurs off.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, commissions, proportions, and percent.

Responsibilities

• Load and package dry ice products into containers based on orders.
• Inspect finished products for weight, density, and packaging integrity.
• Operate production machinery and material handling equipment safely.
• Accurately log production numbers, shipping manifests, and inventory usage.
