Colorado Premium Foods is hiring a Dry Goods Inventory Lead to support the purchasing department by managing stock, operating a forklift, labeling products, and ensuring accurate inventory in a fast-paced facility in Colorado.

You will enter orders, run ProTrace reports, maintain SOPs and GMP compliance, assist with BOM setup, audits, and cycle counts, and help drive safety and housekeeping across the floor. Minimum 1 year experience and high school diploma required.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required with at least one year related experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with product reporting systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as invoices and policies.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Enter orders for materials and maintain stock levels.
  • Operate forklift and ensure proper storage and labeling of products.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy and conduct housekeeping per SOPs and GMPs.
  • Verify receipts and update data entry in ProTrace accurately.
  • Support SQF, BRC, HACCP compliance and sanitation programs.
  • Develop BOMs, set up product codes, perform counts and transfers.
  • Monitor loss prevention, risk management, and USDA compliance; assist training.

Job Title: Dry Goods Inventory LeadReports to: Dry Goods SupervisorThis position performs supportive administrative duties in dry goods on behalf ofthe purchasing department that include, but is not limited to operating a forklift, overseeing theefficient storage and dispatch of product, keeping stock control systems current and ensuringinventory accuracy. It also ensures all product is properly labeled and the work area ismaintained and clean. Utilizes computer to verify quality and accuracy of products whileensuring accurate and efficient treatment. Generates reports using ProTrace and presents datafor tractability. Works on small projects, works with Supervisor on visual management andmonitoring floor activities and cleanliness.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:• Enters orders for needed materials. Keeps stock of needed materials available anddistributes them as needed. Ensures all product is correctly stacked, labeled, and organizedfor ease of use and inventory purposes. Follows all specified SOP’s, GMP’s and safety policiesand practices. Assures work areas are (clean, organized, etc.), and performs housekeeping duties asrequired.• Performs equipment operations that may include maintaining cleanliness of equipment andmaintaining proper storage and charge.• Verify receipts of products received. Ensures charges are being put in appropriately fororders. Ensures data entry into ProTrace is accurate. Properly and timely files paperworkand does updates of material specifications.• Supports and complies with all policies and procedures that ensure food safety, includingcleanliness and housekeeping in all work areas. This includes responsibility for SafeQuality Food (SQF) for BRC compliance, HACCP, CCP tasks, sanitation, and all supportprogram implementation.• Knowledge in BOM development, set-up product codes, BRC audits, inventory controlfunctions, report discrepancies and management procedures, physical inventory counts,sales orders, and transfers.• Monitors assigned work areas for loss prevention, risk management, USDA compliance, andlabor/employee relations promptly addressing or escalating issues or concerns.
