Job summary

Indiana University Bloomington's IU School of Optometry is seeking a part-time Optometry Technician to deliver quality patient care and assist students and faculty within a clinical teaching environment.

You will operate imaging equipment, participate in patient testing, and ensure data is accurately transmitted to the image technology database while training students on policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (HSED or GED).
• 1 year of optometric technician experience preferred.
• Proficient communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Works independently with advanced professional knowledge and specialized equipment.
• Participates in testing patients using imaging equipment for clinical care and student instruction.
• Transmits image data to image technology database and corrects errors.
