Job summary

ADP, Inc. in Florence, KY is seeking a Dry End Lead Extra to support line operations on the 1st shift (5am-5pm). The role covers setup, line adjustments, and coordination with wet end and packaging to keep production flowing.

Candidates must hold forklift, overhead crane, and trash compactor certifications, plus the ability to read tape measures, use a micrometer, and operate line controls. 5S standards are expected and safety is paramount.

Qualifications

• Internal certifications required for forklifts, overhead cranes, and trash compactor.
• Ability to read tape measures with decimal and fraction scales.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and KBM software.
• Certified as Panel Checker.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Group Lead in line setup for startups, including trim boards, trim guides, trim saws/slitters, and counters.
• Complete production recaps, inspection reports, real-time reject entries, cut-down forms, and coil maps.
• Communicate with wet end and packaging to maintain efficient operation.
• Make line adjustments to keep panel running straight and within spec.
• Monitor trim width and report issues to Dry and Wet End Leads.
• Notify Dry End Lead of any correction marks on panels.
• Monitor splices to prevent film tearing.
• Manage trim choppers and dispose of trim when dumpsters are full.
• Maintain 5S standards on the Dry End lines.
• Provide support on the line as needed by Shift Supervisor or Group Lead.
