Job description

$28 - $31 hourly

$7,500 Sign-On Bonus paid out in $2,500 increments.

This is Regional Driving. You should expect to be away from home 3-4 days a week.

Summary/Objective:
The Pneumatic/Vacuum Truck Operator will perform a wide range of physical activities that require strength and flexibility of the whole body for handling, positioning, moving, and manipulating equipment and materials and vacuum truck operations. The Vacuum Operator/CDL Driver will be responsible for driving and operating efficiently and safely all power equipment and vehicles in accordance with DOT laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate and set up all necessary equipment in accordance with operation training and guidelines and safety procedures.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and practices, including but not limited to personal protective gear.
  • Ability to work safely in and around heavy machinery in loud, hazardous, and industrial settings.
  • Manually clean, install, fit repair valves, caps, hoses, pumps, gaskets, and all other external and internal equipment.
  • Assist in general maintenance of company equipment, service, grease, etc.
  • Wash and clean company equipment – Pressure wash, clean cabs, etc.
  • General housekeeping – sweeping floors, taking out trash, and helping keep work areas clean and organized.
  • Help with future job load outs or unloads from previous jobs – Return equipment and PPE back to designated areas.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • No experience required.
  • Must be 21 years of age per the FMCSA guidelines.
  • Must possess a valid Class A CDL.
  • Overnights and weekends are required.
  • No AUTO Restrictions. Must be legally capable of driving manual transmission trucks.
  • TWIC card required or be able to obtain one. The company will re-imburse.
  • Must pass hair follicle and urine drug screen.
  • Must possess a Medical Examiner’s Certificate or be able to obtain one.
  • Must be capable of passing a personal background screen.
  • Must be capable of passing an MVR background screen.
  • Commercial Driver Operator runs under the FMCSA 70-hour rule.
  • Willing to respond to emergency calls 24 hours, 7 days a week as needed.
  • Willing to perform all required job duties in accordance with training.
  • Willing to perform all job duties in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Willing to understand and follow all given directions.
Physical Requirements:
  • Physically capable of performing all duties and responsibilities assigned.
  • Physically capable of lifting a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Physically capable of standing and/or walking continuously for long periods of time.
  • Physically capable of climbing, balancing, bending, stooping, and kneeling.
  • Physically capable of working in all inclement weather conditions.
