Job summary

Arts Academy, part of One Music Schools, is seeking a talented drum teacher to join our Tigard studio. We welcome multi-instrumentalists capable of teaching drums plus at least one other instrument, with a supportive admin team and recital opportunities.

Compensation is $25.00 per hour. The role offers benefits, ongoing training, and a fun, student-centered environment. Teaching with us requires a minimum 1-year commitment and strong communication with families.

Qualifications

• Must connect with students of all ages and skill levels.
• Ability to demonstrate teaching and instrument skills during interview.
• Open to both new and experienced teachers.

Responsibilities

• Instructing students for 30 minute lessons.
• Assessing new student abilities.
• Creating lesson plans.
• Preparing students for recitals.
• Facilitating student participation in recitals.
• Assisting students in reaching learning goals.
• Communicating with parents/guardians on progress.
