Job summary

WaveCrest Staffing Group is seeking a Pharmacovigilance Data Analyst to support patient safety by analyzing drug safety data, identifying signals, and supporting regulatory reporting in a highly regulated environment.

This contract role offers exposure to signal detection, trend analysis, and cross-functional collaboration, with the possibility to work across locations in GA, Athens and Johns Creek. The position requires a life sciences-related degree and relevant pharmacovigilance experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a life sciences field is preferred.
• Experience in pharmacovigilance or drug safety is preferred.
• Knowledge of safety data analysis and epidemiology concepts is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform pharmacovigilance signal detection and safety data analysis to identify trends.
• Generate monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc safety reports for surveillance activities.
• Respond to regulatory authority requests with safety data and documentation.
• Contribute to risk management and product safety surveillance activities.
• Maintain compliant documentation per regulations and internal procedures.

Drug Safety Data Analyst Daily Tasks: What you will do

• Perform pharmacovigilance signal detection and safety data analysis to identify potential trends or emerging safety concerns.
• Generate monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc trending reports to support ongoing product surveillance activities.
• Analyze and compile pharmacovigilance data in response to regulatory authority requests and internal stakeholder needs, including marketing, quality, and external customer support.
• Contribute to product safety surveillance, risk management, and other pharmacovigilance activities as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure all work is completed in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements and internal procedures.

Drug Safety Data Analyst Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, Epidemiology, Statistics, Public Health, or a related scientific field preferred.
• Previous experience in pharmacovigilance, drug safety, signal detection, safety surveillance, or a related area is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of pharmacovigilance principles, epidemiology, statistics, and safety data analysis is required.
• Experience working in a highly regulated pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or healthcare environment is preferred.
