DRUG-GEN MDSE/LEAD CLERK (Finance)

Direct and supervise all functions, duties, and activities for the Drug GM department. Support the day-to-day operations of the Drug GM. Minimum Requirements:

• Effective communication skills
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction)
• Ability to handle stressful situations

Desired Qualifications:

• High school education or equivalent preferred
• Management experience preferred
• Drug GM experience
• Retail experience
• Second language skills (speaking, reading, and/or writing)

• Promote trust and respect among associates

• Establish performance goals and empower associates to meet or exceed targets
• Develop schedules to manage customer volume during hours of operation

• Create a welcoming environment for customers, answering questions and making suggestions about products
• Maintain knowledge of products and inform customers of specials and promotions
• Develop and implement business and promotional plans for the department
• Monitor inventory levels and manage stock conditions
• Schedule price changes and update promotional signage
• Supervise inventory processes and train staff on inventory management and ordering systems
• Ensure safety procedures are followed; report unsafe conditions and accidents
• Manage conflicts and handle customer and employee issues professionally
• Support minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults in interactions
