Position Summary: DRUG-GEN MDSE/CLERK (Finance)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create an environment that makes customers feel welcome, important, and appreciated by answering questions about products and throughout the store.
  • Gain and maintain product knowledge to respond to inquiries and make suggestions.
  • Offer product samples to help customers discover new items.
  • Inform customers of Drug GM specials and recommend items to ensure they get what they want and need.
  • Review product 'sell by' dates and take appropriate actions.
  • Label, stock, and inventory department merchandise.
  • Report discrepancies in product ordering or shipping to the department manager.
  • Display a positive attitude and stay current with advertising and promotions.
  • Reinforce safety programs by adhering to safety procedures and reporting unsafe conditions.
  • Practice preventive maintenance by inspecting equipment and notifying management of repairs.
  • Report customer or employee accidents, safety risks, or illegal activities such as theft or fraud.
  • Work cooperatively in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment and manage conflicts constructively.
  • Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
  • Follow directions and seek assistance when needed to resolve issues.
  • Support and assist minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults as required.
