Job summary

Qualifications

• Sophomore, junior, or senior pursuing a B.S. in chemistry at an accredited college/university.
• Completion of introductory organic chemistry laboratory and coursework is required.
• Minimum GPA of 3.2 strongly preferred.
• Prior undergraduate research experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with NMR, MS, HPLC techniques and safe lab practices is preferred.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and strong oral and written communication skills.
• Available to work 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a Johnson & Johnson scientist on projects.
• Synthesize, purify, and characterize novel drug-like compounds.
• Enable reaction discovery to address synthetic challenges.
