The role emphasizes serving as a liaison between clients, therapists, and support services, helping navigate the treatment and recovery process, and using personal recovery experience to motivate others. The position requires at least 2 years of personal recovery, strong communication and mentorship skills, and offers employer-covered

Requirements

• Must have "lived experience" recovering from a drug or alcohol addiction
• High School Diploma or GED
• Must have Certified Recovery Specialist Certificate or be willing to earn certificate within 1 year of hire
• Valid driver’s license and car insurance
• Working knowledge of 12 step recovery principles
• Pennsylvania State Child Abuse Clearance
• Pennsylvania Criminal Background Check
• FBI Clearance through the Department of Human Services
