Job summary

Lourdes Health in Pasco, WA is seeking a Drug and Alcohol Counselor to provide direct assessment and counseling for adolescent, adult, and geriatric clients in a hospital setting.

You will deliver individual, marital, family and group psychotherapy, maintain accurate records, ensure confidentiality, and participate in treatment team meetings to support integrated care. Bilingual abilities and a commitment to culturally sensitive care are valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• AA in Social Services or equivalent (90 quarter/60 semester credits) or a Bachelor's in Behavioral Health Sciences.
• Must be enrolled in an approved school and pursuing credentials for Substance Use Disorder Professional.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct assessment and counseling to adolescent, adult, and geriatric clients.
• Provides individual, marital, family and group psychotherapy as assigned.
• Maintains accurate records and billing information; uses CPT codes appropriately.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient, hospital, and employee information.
• Delivers care with respect to spiritual and cultural differences.
• Participates in community consultation and education.
• Participates in facility treatment team meetings and communicates clinical impressions.
• Compiles comprehensive patient/family history and records data.
• Works to ensure productivity with flexible scheduling.

Hourly range: $17.26- $22.44
