Your Mission

As a Drug & Alcohol Collections Technician at our Occupational Health Clinic in Anchorage, Alaska, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring compliance and safety for our clients. This full‑time position involves performing accurate and timely specimen collections—urine, saliva, hair, and breath—both in the clinic and at remote locations across Alaska and occasionally the lower 48. You’ll calibrate and maintain testing devices, conduct rapid drug screens and breath alcohol tests, and provide after‑hours support on a rotating basis. With up to 50% travel, this role offers variety and responsibility, including administrative tasks and ensuring all procedures meet regulatory standards. How You’ll Contribute

Join our Occupational Health team and help ensure compliance and safety for clients across Alaska. This dynamic role combines hands‑on specimen collection with travel and technical expertise. Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Perform Accurate Collections: Conduct urine, saliva, hair, and breath specimen collections in both clinic and field settings, including after‑hours support.
  • Ensure Reliable Testing: Calibrate and maintain breath alcohol testing devices and perform post‑positive calibrations to meet strict regulatory standards.
  • Support Rapid Results: Administer urine drug screens, oral fluid collections, rapid drug tests, and breath alcohol tests with precision.
  • Provide Flexible Coverage: Carry and respond to the after‑hours phone on a weekly rotation to handle urgent collection needs.
  • Travel for Impact: Travel up to 50% of the time to remote Alaska locations and occasionally the lower 48 to support client needs.
  • Stay Organized: Complete general administrative tasks delegated by the Lead Technician or Clinical Services Director to keep operations running smoothly.
  • Maintain Compliance: Follow all applicable regulations, laws, and policies to ensure integrity and accuracy in every collection.
