Zusammenfassung

The Research Foundation of the City University of New York (RFCUNY) is seeking a tutor coordinator to coordinate and implement dropout prevention services for high school students in collaboration with DOE staff and community partners on site.

Responsibilities include individual and group counseling, recruitment, scheduling and supervision of 10-15 college undergraduates and graduates who are tutors/mentors, and the design and implementation of school-based programming including workshops,

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma/GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate and implement dropout prevention services for high school students in collaboration with the DOE staff and other CBOs on site.
• Recruit, schedule and supervise 10-15 college undergraduate and graduate students who are tutors/mentors.
• Design and implement school-based programming including workshops, afterschool programs, college exploration, college advising and workforce development.
• Plan and facilitate positive social activities during holiday and summer breaks.
• Responsibilities may change with program needs; other duties as assigned.
