Job summary

Chittenden Solid Waste District is seeking a motivated individual to work at various busy Drop-Off Centers in Vermont. The schedule is Tuesday–Saturday, 7:45am–3:45pm, with duties including public interaction and POS operation (training provided). Must enjoy outdoor work and have customer service experience; passion for waste reduction is encouraged.

Job description

CSWD is seeking a highly motivated individual to work at various busy Drop-Off Centers. Schedule is Tuesday-Saturday from 7:45am-3:45pm. Must enjoy interacting with the public, have the ability to operate a point-of-sale system (training provided) and be able to keep cool under pressure. Moderate physical effort is required as is the ability to work outdoors. Customer service experience a plus. Self-starters and those with a passion for reducing waste, recycling, and composting, are strongly encouraged to apply. $22.18 per hour with an excellent benefits package.
