Job summary

Richland County Government is seeking a responsible drop-off center attendant to guide staff, manage variable work schedules, and ensure safe, efficient operations at the drop-off site. Qualifications

• This class requires at least 2 years of responsible experience, preferably in a drop-off center.

Responsibilities

• Provide general direction and guidance to drop-off center attendants when supervisor is not present.
• Establish variable work schedules for drop-off center attendants.
• Monitor and ensure adequate equipment and supplies at drop-off centers.
• Direct traffic and guide public to proper waste containers; assess acceptability of materials.
• Maintain drop-off site in a clean, safe, and orderly condition; operate equipment as needed.
