Job description

ISLAND VIEW CASINO'S Drop/Count Member safeguards the assets of the casino by removing, exchanging, collecting and accurately counting cash boxes from slot machines, table games, sportsbook and kiosks in accordance with established policies, procedures and gaming regulations. The team member will also be responsible opening, removing and securing currency from the slot machines and table games as well as removing cash boxes from gaming machine bases; replace empty boxes. Transports cash boxes to the cart and place them on properly labeled shelves. Transports drop boxes to the count room. Ensures that all cash boxes are removed from carts. Ensures all monies are verified, proofed, strapped, and bricked with the required information on the straps. Accurately count slot machine currency drop and tickets, etc.

Position Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to handle cash, lift 35 pounds and push heavy objects for long periods of time.
• Must be able to obtain a Mississippi Gaming Permit.
• Knowledge using the following equipment: computer, G&D C4 and M5, calculators and JCM docking station.
