Empties buckets of coin from under slot machines and transfers the coins to the Hard Count Room. Once coins are transferred, weighs, counts, wraps, scales, and records slot drop according to set procedures.

General Requirements
  • High school diploma preferred.
  • No previous experience is necessary.
  • Must be able to work any shift and any day of the week.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Basic mechanical (repair) ability preferred.
  • Prior coin room experience (bank) preferred.
  • Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
Essential Job Functions
  • Pick-up, protect, and deliver all buckets of Slot Drop moneys from the casino floor to the Hard Count Room.
  • Wrap all moneys picked up daily and transfer to vault.
  • Meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
Physical & Mental Demands

Necessary to complete essential job functions:

  • Must be able to push and pull carts weighing up to 5,850 pounds with assistance of a team member.
  • Must be able to stoop, bend, twist, and reach while removing and transporting coin.
  • Must be able to continuously remove buckets weighing up to 90 pounds from under slot machines and lift a bucket to head height to place on carts.
  • Must be able to lift rolls of coin and stack into racks.
  • Must present a well-groomed appearance.
  • Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
Work Environment
  • Must be able to maneuver in and around the casino and hard count room.
  • Must tolerate areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust.
