Why We Need Your Talents
The Drop & Count Clerk is primarily responsible for collecting and processing large volumes of currency from Table Games, Slot Machines, Poker Table Games, and Kiosk machines for reporting purposes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. This role involves documenting all counts to meet Gaming and Company regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Open, remove, and secure currency from slot machines and table games.
- Follow all Drop/Count policies and procedures.
- Count slot machine currency drops and tickets accurately.
- Operate electronic currency counters and ticket counters.
- Record currency from each bill acceptor and gaming machine on the electronic counter.
- Prepare and bundle currency drops for verification.
- Separate slot tickets and currency from gaming machines.
- Perform chip counts for the Poker Room.
- Create reports on counts and enter data into the online accounting system.
- Report any discrepancies or variances to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Complete drop and count during shifts.
- Maintain confidentiality of all information.
- Contribute to team efforts and perform other duties as assigned.
- Ensure the safety and security of guests and employees.
Qualifications
Skills You'll Need to Succeed
- Clear reading, writing, hearing, and speaking skills; accurate money handling and counting.
- Ability to accurately enter data into computer systems and operate printers.
- Basic writing skills and understanding of instructions and memos.
- Color discrimination ability.
- Proficiency with a 10-key calculator.
- Ability to perform duties under time pressure.
