Job summary

Flyby Robotics is seeking an experienced drone pilot to test and evaluate drones post-production. Your role is to push the units to the limit while maintaining safety and detecting anomalies that affect quality.

You will need FAA Part 107 certification and a history of operating large drones, with a passion for aviation and hardware tinkering. This onsite role requires commuting to the office and endurance for outdoor testing.

Qualifications

• FAA Part 107 remote pilot certification required.
• Experience flying commercial drones over 10 lbs MTOW.
• Ability to work outdoors and maintain focus for long periods.
• Interest in Flyby's vision and hands-on hardware understanding.
• Live within commuting distance to the office.

Responsibilities

• Test and evaluate drones as they leave the factory.
• Push drones to the limit in a safe, controlled manner.
• Identify abnormalities and report findings for QA pipeline.
• Support customers by ensuring drones meet performance standards.
