Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking a Mechanical Engineer I to support system-level investigations of an advanced drone system at commercial operations sites in a on-site role in North Randall, OH. You will troubleshoot drone issues, perform check flights, and work with engineers to improve reliability and performance.

The role requires a Bachelor's or Master's in relevant engineering fields, scripting experience, and the ability to travel up to 30%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or equivalent.
• Experience in troubleshooting and debugging technical systems and scripting in modern programming languages.
• Strong communication and writing skills; ability to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Support new drone delivery sites by provisioning site equipment and performing check flights.
• Verify nominal performance before the start of commercial operations and conduct daily system-level investigations.
• Troubleshoot drone issues observed during operations and implement solutions to return drones to service.
• Work with design and service engineering staff to ensure technical reliability.
• Provide engineering analyses and data-driven improvements to system reliability and performance.
