The position is hands-on and outdoors, requiring long hours in all weather and physical tasks such as digging monuments, lifting equipment up to 75 lbs, and recording accurate field data and notes for mapping

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; coursework in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or GIS is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
• FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate must be obtained within 1 month; training and $2,000 bonus provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist with survey setup using GPS rovers, total stations, tripods, and ground control points.
• Perform field labor tasks such as digging monuments and staking points in soil.
• Carry and lift survey/UAS equipment up to 75 lbs.
• Work outdoors in sun, rain, cold, mud, and rough terrain.
• Collect and organize field data for mapping and construction projects.
• Record field notes, sketches, and barcode scans for asset tracking.
• Ensure care, transport, and maintenance of survey and UAS equipment.
• Follow safety standards and assist with field risk assessments.
