Job Overview

We are seeking a currently licensed Colorado Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) to join our team. This role is primarily field-based: you'll work alongside our survey technician performing boundary and tract surveys.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kiowa, CO.

Responsibilities

• Perform boundary and tract surveys on rural and agricultural land parcels, working in the field alongside our survey technician.
• Review and reduce field data collected during surveys.
• Conduct property research to resolve boundary questions and disputes.
• Certify and sign survey results in accordance with Colorado licensing requirements.
• Stay current on Colorado surveying standards, regulations, and best practices.

Qualifications

• Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in the State of Colorado — required.
• Bachelors degree in Land Surveying or related field is a plus
• Comfortable working outdoors and in the field on a regular basis, in all weather and terrain typical of tract/rural land surveying.
• Strong understanding of boundary law, property research, and rural/agricultural land surveying practices.
• Ability to work well as part of a team alongside our office manager and survey technicians.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Valid driver's license.
