Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a technically focused Drone Pilot to safely and efficiently operate commercial drones on construction, engineering, and facility projects across the United States. You will develop flight plans, execute operations near active sites, and deliver high‑quality reality capture data that integrates with BIM, GIS, and design workflows.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate and 3+ years of commercial drone ops.
• Experience developing flight plans and executing UAS operations around active construction or industrial sites.
• Ability to process, validate, publish, and archive large imagery and reality‑capture datasets.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct commercial drone flights in accordance with FAA regulations and safety procedures.
• Capture aerial imagery and 3D data for design, construction, commissioning, and operations.
• Process imagery to produce orthomosaics, 3D models, point clouds, and deliverables for project teams.
• Support construction progress tracking, site supervision, and turnover documentation.
• Maintain flight records, equipment status, and ensure compliance with security protocols.
