Job summary
TSMG Holding is seeking a skilled, certified Drone Pilot to operate and manage drone projects in surveying, mapping, inspection and videography. You will perform pre-flight checks, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and analyze aerial data to support project needs.
Ideal candidates hold FAA Part 107 certification with proven drone experience and strong knowledge of mapping software, GIS, and photogrammetry.
Qualifications
- FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certification or equivalent required.
- Proven experience operating drones in varied settings.
- Strong technical knowledge of drone systems and mapping/modeling software.
- Excellent spatial awareness and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data and present findings clearly.
Responsibilities
- Operate drones for aerial photography, videography, surveying, and inspections.
- Conduct pre-flight checks and ensure drones are in optimal condition.
- Follow FAA regulations and safety guidelines during operations.
- Plan flight paths and adjust based on conditions.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret aerial data for reporting.
- Collaborate with team to meet project goals.
- Maintain flight logs including times, locations, and data.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot drone equipment.
- Stay updated on drone industry trends and regs.
