Job summary

Service Robot Co. in Lubbock, Texas is seeking a drone operator for field work involving security patrols, site monitoring and inspections at customer sites. This is a contract position paid per shift or mission, with training and certifications provided.

You will perform pre-flight checks, follow FAA Part 107 rules, and report observations to clients. Role requires outdoor work, comfort with weekends or nights, and the ability to transport and set up drones and related gear.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Complete pre-flight checks, operate the drone, and record the flight.

• Monitor weather, signal, battery levels, and airspace conditions.
• Stop or cancel a flight when conditions are unsafe.
• Report observations clearly to the customer or site team.
• Transport and set up drones, batteries, and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems and document any incidents.
