Job summary

Samsung E&C America, Inc. is actively seeking a Drone Operator & Project Administrator to lead daily drone flights for site documentation and to support document control within the Project Controls team.

The role combines field drone operations with office-based data processing and regulatory compliance, requiring FAA Part 107 certification and 2–4 years of construction drone experience. Hybrid Texas work arrangement is offered.

Qualifications

FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate required and current.
2–4 years of drone operation in commercial/industrial construction.
Proficiency with professional drone platforms (Mavic 3 Enterprise, Air 3) and flight planning software.
Basic photo and video editing with Adobe Lightroom and Premiere Pro.
Experience with construction PMIS (Procore or equivalent) for document filing.

Responsibilities

Daily aerial site documentation via pre-planned flight paths, capturing high-resolution images and video for active construction zones.
Process, sort, and archive photos/videos with standardized naming and project PMIS folder structure.
Maintain centralized project document management: receive, register, distribute, and file documents per control procedures.
Obtain FAA airspace authorizations and comply with OCIP, site safety, and drone operating requirements.
