Job summary

Infravision is seeking a Journeyman Lineman to perform skilled transmission line construction and maintenance in field assignments across the United States. You will collaborate with UAV pilots to deploy drone-augmented stringing methods, run heavy equipment, and ensure safety and quality in every build.

The role requires strong line construction experience, CDL Class A, OSHA-aligned practices, and flexibility to travel for extended projects.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Lineman status required.
• High school diploma or GED required; lineman training preferred.
• Experience with transmission stringing, conductors, sagging, splicing, and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled transmission line construction, maintenance, repair, and restoration on overhead and underground systems.
• Coordinate with UAV pilots to support lead-line deployments with safety protocols.
• Support end-to-end stringing activities including pulling, tensioning, sagging, and splicing.
• Read staking sheets, maps, and sag-tension data; document field work and incidents.
• Lead or mentor apprentices and field crew as needed.
