AAA Auto Club Enterprises is seeking full‑time Driving Instructors in Portland, ME. Train teens and adults in classroom and behind‑the‑wheel sessions, following AAA Driving School curriculum. You will monitor progress, schedule lessons, and ensure compliance with state driving laws.

You must be 21+, have 4 years of driving experience, a valid license, and pass background and drug checks. Starting pay ranges from $20.00–$22.00 per hour with potential incentives after year one.

Qualifications

• You must be 21 years of age with 4 years of driving experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record are required.
• Pass a background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Conduct classroom and behind‑the‑wheel training for drivers of all ages as per the curriculum.
• Use driving school software to record and monitor student progress.
• Evaluate student performance and provide additional support as needed.
• Schedule driving appointments and maintain knowledge of state DMV laws and regulations.
