Job summary

AAA Driving School in Ohio is seeking a Full-Time Driver Training Instructor to deliver behind-the-wheel instruction and uphold AAA’s curriculum. You will use our software to track student progress, assess performance, and provide guidance, while maintaining state documentation and staying current on safe driving practices.

Requirements include a high school diploma, a valid driver's license with a clean record, at least 5 years of driving experience, and the ability to obtain the state Driving

Hourly Pay: $22.00/hour

Schedule - Full-Time (40 hours/week): We’re looking for team members with flexible availability to work 8-hour shifts across both day and evening hours. Weekend availability is required for at least one day, with both days preferred. Weekly schedules may vary depending on student demand.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver behind-the-wheel instruction to students of varying ages and experience levels, following AAA’s curriculum and training standards
• Use our driving school software to track and manage student progress
• Assess student performance and provide personalized guidance
• Stay current on safe and defensive driving practices and maintain all required state documentation

What You’ll Bring

• Experience in driving instruction, education, or the automotive industry
• Confidence working with the public, especially teens
• A strong commitment to promoting safe driving habits
• Flexibility to accommodate student schedules, including weekday afternoons and at least one weekend day
• Physical ability to sit for extended periods, hear and see in all weather conditions, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and lift up to 25lbs
• Must be capable of safely assuming control of the vehicle from the passenger seat during instruction or emergency situations.
