Job summary

The Next Street in Massachusetts is hiring a Driving Instructor (FT/PT or Seasonal). Compensation is $22.00–$23.00 per hour. We’re redefining Driver’s Education with positive, empathetic educators who care about student success and safety.

Our paid training program supports you every step of the way. You must be at least 21, hold a valid Massachusetts driver’s license for 2+ years, and pass a federal and state background check plus a preemployment drug screen.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Hold a valid Massachusetts driver’s license for 2+ years.
• Pass federal and Massachusetts background checks and a preemployment drug screen.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Teach driving concepts using our curriculum and methods.
• Provide patient, clear instruction to diverse students.

• You must be an experienced driver yourself, with the ability to exhibit patience and follow the rules of the road
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Have held a valid State of Massachusetts Driver’s License for at least 2 years.
• Must submit to a Federal and State of Massachusetts Department of Children and Families background check and preemployment drug screen (marijuana is not permissible with this job)
• Outstanding verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work evenings and weekends (you will have a set schedule so your schedule will be consistent)
