Job summary

Nova Driving School in Schaumburg, Illinois is seeking passionate Driving Instructors to provide high-quality driver education and behind-the-wheel training to teens and adults in the area.

You will work one-on-one with students, tailor lessons to individual needs, and foster a positive learning environment to help new drivers develop safe habits on today’s roads. The role requires a valid IL driver’s license, 2+ years’ experience, and being over 21.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Illinois driver's license for at least 2 years.
• No at-fault accidents in the last 7 years.
• Over 21 years of age and able to present original diploma or transcripts.

Responsibilities

• Teach students safe driving techniques and Illinois traffic laws, including defensive driving.
• Adapt teaching style to diverse learners and comfort levels.
• Monitor student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback after each lesson.
• Stay up-to-date on current traffic regulations and best practices in driver education.
• Create a positive, supportive learning environment that builds student confidence.
