Job Description: Technical Support Technician at Driverse

Driverse (A DRB Company) is a growing software company specializing in high-tech POS (point-of-sale) software for the quick lube and automotive repair industries. Supporting customers across nearly all 50 states, Canada, and South America, we seek motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Technical Support Technicians.

Responsibilities:

  1. Serve as the first point of contact for customer support via phone and email.
  2. Provide troubleshooting assistance for hardware and software issues, including software configuration and hardware setup.
  3. Assist with operating system functionality, software installation, mobile device setup, and peripheral device management.
  4. Document issues thoroughly in our support system.
  5. Manage issues to resolution, maintaining open communication with customers.
  6. Escalate complex issues appropriately and initiate RMA processes when necessary.
  7. Support product upgrades and schedule support calls with customers.
  8. Maintain performance metrics such as answer rate and wait time.
  9. Deliver professional customer service at all times.

Qualifications:

  1. Experience with computer hardware and software; customer service experience preferred.
  2. Proficiency in Microsoft operating systems and advanced knowledge of computer hardware and networks.
  3. Strong communication and customer service skills.
  4. Ability to learn new software quickly and troubleshoot analytically.
  5. Attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
  6. High school diploma or GED required.
  7. This is a full-time remote position, working on a rotating schedule from 8am-8pm EST, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Compensation and Benefits:

The annual base salary ranges from $39,000 to $42,000, determined by experience, skills, location, and credentials. We offer comprehensive health, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance, wellness programs, paid parental leave, a 401(k) plan with matching contributions, paid time off, and holidays.
