Our Berks Division is looking for reliable and dependable Driver Helpers to play a critical role on the solid waste collection team. The position requires you to ride on the back of a trash truck and perform several essential roles, such as assisting the driver to safely navigate the truck and collect curbside waste and/or recycling in a safe and efficient manner.

Additional earnings are available through extra work and solo routes.

Compensation:

• $130.00 per day when all incentive-based criteria have been met.
• $50.00 per week attendance bonus.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry for long periods of time.
2. Ability to lift 75 pounds.
3. Ability to work outside in all types of weather.
4. Requires constant lifting, walking, and climbing onto and off of the truck.
5. Must be able to ride on the rear step of the truck while in motion.
