Job summary

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® is seeking drivers in Jackson, MI. This role does not require a CDL and offers a starting pay of $16.00/hr plus tips. Responsibilities include providing excellent customer service, safely moving belongings, and accurately handling sales orders. Responsibilities

• Greet customers upon arrival and complete a walk-through of the premises.
• Provide exceptional customer service during moves.
• Work with a team to safely load and unload the moving truck.
• Accurately submit Digital Sales Orders and receive payments.
• Safely drive and maneuver a 26-foot moving truck.

Overview

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® is hiring drivers (no CDL required).

Starting Pay: $16.00/hr + tips

What We Offer

• Opportunities to earn commission during interstate and intrastate moves.
• 3 pay raise opportunities during the first 90 days with bi-annual performance reviews thereafter.
• Paid time off after 1 year of employment.
• Shift Information: Monday through Saturday operation beginning at 8:00 a.m. Shifts are scheduled on an as-needed basis, based on demand.

• If you do not currently have a chauffeur driver’s license, you will be trained to drive a commercial vehicle and will be supported in getting your Class C license.

What You’ll Do

• Greet customers upon arrival at the location, make a positive first impression (smile, handshake, positive attitude), and complete a walk-through of the premises.
• Provide exceptional customer service as you safely move, pack, and unpack customers’ belongings.
• Work with a team of movers to safely load and unload the moving truck.
• Accurately submit Digital Sales Orders and receive payments.
• Safely drive and maneuver a 26-foot moving truck.

What We’re Looking For

• Must be at least 21 years of age due to insurance restrictions.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Must be willing to submit to and pass a pre-employment drug screen, MVR, and background check.
• Must possess leadership qualities.
• Stamina to lift and carry heavy items (75 lbs. or more) repeatedly while climbing stairs, balancing, walking, etc.
• Strong problem-solving ability.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience as a non-CDL driver or in general labor (loading, unloading, landscaping, construction, production, manufacturing, factory, assembly, or warehouse) is helpful.
