A freight transportation provider is seeking a CDL-A Truck Driver located near Gastonia, NC. The role involves delivering to auto stores, utilizing electric and manual pallet jacks. Candidates must have a minimum of 12 months driving experience and Hazmat certification. Drivers will have the possibility of working daily, ensuring home time during the week with occasional layovers. This position comes with full benefits and a guarantee pay structure after one year.

Job Details

This account is out of Gastonia, NC and must be located within 50 miles of Running Lanes in NC, SC & GA.

This is a W2 account. Drivers will be home daily for most of the week, with a handful of layover loads on light days (Mondays, Sundays, Saturdays).

Drivers may be on call or assigned routes. Dispatch is available Sun-Thurs or Mon-Fri or Tue-Sat with varying dispatch times based on the weekly route. 1–2 layover routes possible per week.

Drivers must be comfortable driving at night.

Deliveries are made to auto stores. Inside delivery: electric pallet jacks used on deliveries, manual pallet jacks as backup.

Pay: 46 CPM; averages up to 1,700–1,800 miles per week; 3–6 stops per delivery.

Guarantee pay: $1,300 upfront, $1,500 after full year of employment.

CDL-A Truck Driver Requirements

• Must have 12 months of driving experience.
• Must be able to pass a urine and hair drug test.
• Must have transportation to and from work.
• Must have Hazmat certification.
