Job summary

Galactic Logistics is seeking delivery associates to join our Amazon Delivery Service Partner network in Paterson, NJ. Roles include full- and part-time schedules with 4-day or 2–3 day workweeks, typical shifts from 11:10 AM to 9 PM, and a requirement to work one weekend day.

Job Details

• Company vehicle provided! No CDL is required.
• Delivery associates will typically work upto 10-hour shifts
• Shifts are available 7 days a week
• Full and part-time opportunities available. Full time is 4 days per week and Part time is 2 or 3 days per week
• Hours are 11:10 AM to 9 PM. Shifts are 10 hours per day and are available 7 days per week.
• One weekend day a week is required.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Safely drive and operate your delivery vehicle at all times.
• Use a handheld device for routing information, customer delivery information.
• Navigate a variety of routes throughout the delivery area.
• Must be comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions.
• Load and unload packages to be delivered.
• Be customer-obsessed! We strive to deliver packages and smiles to our customers.
• Perform the following tasks, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Lift packages up to 50 lbs.
• Able to get in and out of the van and walk up and down stairs through your shift.

Basic Requirements

• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Must have a regular driver's license. No probationary or provisional license allowed.
• Must be able to get in and out of a van throughout the day and comfortable driving and delivering in changing weather conditions.
• Must have good communication skills, team player, and have the ability to work well with others.
• Must be punctual, reliable, and passionate about customer service.

Compensation & Benefits

• $23.75-$24.50 per hour. Pay is based on actual hours worked.
