Role Description Drivers at Moving Ahead Services play a key role in safely transporting household and commercial goods for local and long-distance moves. In this full-time, on-site role based in Pittsburgh, PA, Drivers are responsible for operating company trucks, loading and unloading items, and ensuring that belongings are handled with care and accuracy. Daily tasks include following scheduled routes, performing basic vehicle inspections, completing move-related paperwork, and coordinating with moving crews and dispatch to stay on timeline. Drivers interact directly with customers at pickup and delivery locations, providing courteous service, answering basic questions, and helping resolve minor issues on-site. This role requires reliability, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and excellent customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Ability to safely operate trucks for residential and commercial moves, with experience in Truck Driving and handling various Truck sizes.
• Valid CDL Class A or equivalent commercial driving license, with a clean driving record and knowledge of DOT regulations.
• Strong Communication skills to coordinate with team members, dispatch, and customers throughout the moving process.
• Demonstrated Customer Service skills, including professionalism, courtesy, and the ability to address basic client concerns on-site.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and maneuver furniture and boxes; familiarity with moving equipment and safety practices.
• Dependable work ethic, punctuality, and willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and occasional evenings.
