As a Driver/Yard Assistant at Bali Construction, you are crucial to our day-to-day operations. You will be responsible for delivering tools and equipment to job sites, ensuring timely deliveries, and providing support in our yard and warehouse as needed.

• Safely operate company vehicles to transport tools and equipment to job sites, following all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Efficiently plan and execute delivery routes to meet delivery schedules and customer expectations.
• Maneuver, navigate, or drive vehicles or mechanized equipment, such as forklifts.
• Provide information to supervisors and co-workers by mobile device, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
• Monitor and review information from materials, events, or the environment to detect or assess problems.
• Use relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with laws, regulations, or standards.
• Inspect equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.
• Operate vehicles or material-moving equipment.
• Record details of deliveries.
• Resolve issues affecting transportation operations.
• Maintain vehicles in good working condition.
• Assist with yard and warehouse operations, including loading and unloading materials and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Prioritize safety at all times, adhere to safety guidelines, and promote a safety culture within the team.
• Work closely with colleagues and supervisors to ensure efficient operations and meet team goals.
• Identify and resolve delivery and yard-related issues quickly and effectively.

Position Requirements: Experience, Education & Skills

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Familiar with route planning software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Organizational skills.
• Proficient in MS Office, intermediate Excel skills, and ability to learn industry-specific software.

Physical Requirements:
While performing the essential duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:

• Sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and lifting (up to 30 lbs.).

Exposed to constant work in outdoor and indoor weather conditions. Frequent driving to job sites and the ability to walk on uneven, unclean terrain for several hours will be necessary.
