QXO is seeking a Commercial Motor Vehicle Driver / Warehouse associate in Birmingham, AL. You will deliver and unload products to customer locations and assist in warehouse operations. The role requires operating a commercial vehicle locally with an 80% in-cab focus and starts between 5:30 am and 7:00 am.

The position emphasizes excellent customer service, reading/writing English, and use of navigation software. Physical duties include lifting up to 50 lbs and frequent bending.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license required for company vehicle use.
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience (10,001-26,000 lbs).
• Must have acceptable DMV record.
• Flexibility to perform warehouse duties as signed.

Assist in the Warehouse as needed to receive, store and distribute inventory.Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle locally.Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling and lifting up 50 lbs. during physical loading/unloading of trucks.Excellent customer service skills- our drivers are the most important ambassadors of our company and build relationships with our customers.Able to read, write and understand English Language, as well as use navigation software.Shift schedule varies anywhere from 5:30 am to 7:00 am start.Assist in the warehouse 20% of the time.Any other duty, task, or responsibilities as assigned.Your QualificationsMinimum of 18 years of age.If operating a vehicle for company purposes, a valid driver's license is required.Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience (10,001- 26,000 lbs vehicle). Must have experience with 26' Box Truck.Acceptable Department of Motor Vehicle Record.Flexibility to perform warehouse duties as signed.THIS IS A SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITIONTravel RequirementsEighty (80%) percent of all work activities are performed inside the cab of the commercial vehicle. The remainder of work activities are performed outdoors.Physical RequirementsThis role requires prolonged standing and repetitive motions, including bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling. Role also requires good hand-eye coordination, hand dexterity, and physical strength.
